You've decided to book a house cleaner; now it's time to choose the best service for you and your home. Sometimes this process can be a tough choice to make, but we are here to help! Today we will talk about our top cleaning options new clients make for their first house clean; regular cleaning, one-time cleaning, and deep cleaning.
Regular/One-Time cleaning
Regular cleaning and one-time cleaning are the same cleaning routine covering the same areas of the home. The difference is the frequency you get the cleaning done. Regular cleaning would be done on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis. One-time cleaning is when you need cleaning done occasionally, like before holidays or events, or when you need extra help getting your home back on track. Both options are lighter cleans that help with maintaining your home or office.
For the home, it covers the kitchen, living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, home offices, and basements.
For offices, regular cleaning is the best for keeping a proper and professional environment for your customers and employees. The areas covered in an office would be lobbies, reception areas, employee offices, kitchen/break rooms, bathrooms, and any other space within the building that gets used regularly.
When it comes down to choosing if this option is what is best to start with, decide what is essential for you when hiring a cleaning service. Do you need more of the areas that you see on a daily basis? For example, in the living room, you might look at the tv and the surfaces under it and notice a lot of dust but find yourself getting too busy to take care of it regularly, or the coffee table has something spilled on it that you’ve been meaning to clean but don’t realize it until you’re sitting down and done for the day. Maybe you love the look of your bed being made but find yourself rushing out the door before it can get done, or the feel of having your entire house clean all at once but don’t have enough time to do it all. If any of this applies to you, then regular cleaning would be the best option! We would come in however frequently you need and do all things dusting, surface cleaning, bed making/linen changing, bathroom cleaning, kitchen disinfecting, and so much more. You would be able to come home from a long day to a clean home and finally focus on more important things like family, friends, or hobbies you enjoy most.
If you find yourself cleaning constantly and have a routine set up for your home but notice you’ve gotten behind on a few things or you have a party you’re planning and don’t have the time to clean as well as you would like to, then one-time cleaning would be what is best for you! We look at one-time cleaning as a good “reset” for your home to help you get back on track or as an excellent option for those that want to take some stress off of party planning and have the cleaning already checked off their list without having to do it themselves.
Deep Cleaning
Deep cleaning is for those that want more of the hard-to-reach areas or the spaces that don’t get as much attention on a daily basis. For example, the dusty baseboards around your house that haven’t been touched since you moved in, or the oven that has so much gunk on it you can’t see through the glass at the delicious food you're making. Maybe you notice that you can’t remember the
last time you cleaned the shelves on the bookcases or dusted the ceiling fans in the bedrooms; then deep cleaning is a great place to start!
We focus on all the hard-to-clean spots of the home and put a lot of work in on the framework to ensure it gets as close to looking like the day you moved in as possible. The baseboards will be cleaned by hand, and the doors and doorframes will be scrubbed to remove all the dirt and oily hand prints. We will put a lot of work into the kitchen by doing the inside of your oven(s) and refrigerator to help ensure your appliances look like new again. We will clean each cabinet to get all the built-up grease and grime from cooking oils or dirty fingers around the handles to help your kitchen truly shine. The stove top, inside the microwave, and sink will all be cleaned, disinfected, and shiny again. The bathrooms will be cleaned from top to bottom, and the showers will be disinfected and scrubbed thoroughly to get all the soap scum off the sides of your bathtubs. There is so much that goes into our deep cleans, but these are just a few examples to look forward to.
Deep cleaning costs more because it requires more muscles, more work, and more cleaning solutions, but we guarantee you’ll be happy when we’re finished. Our goal is to help you love your home again, and if you find that you love it so much you want to ensure it stays in its best condition, consider doing our regular cleaning service. We can even book this immediately after the deep cleaning, so you won’t have to worry about contacting us later!
The difference in the cleanings is that the deep cleaning service gets all the harder to reach areas, the framework of the home, the inside of your appliances, and all the tasks included in a regular cleaning.
Now that you have a better idea of what service to choose for your first cleaning, we are always available to get you into our schedule or to answer any questions. Feel free to fill out a form on our website or give us a call or text any time!
